Remco Towing Accessories

  • Remco towing products allow most vehicles that are not towable, to be towed with all four wheels on the ground without damage to the transmission. Generally front wheel drive vehicles with a automatic transmission require the Lube Pump. Rear wheel drive vehicles with a automatic transmission use the driveline disconnect. To determine which product would be needed to tow your vehicle safely, contact us and we will refer to the application chart. Not all vehicles can be equipped with Remco Products.

  • Remco's Lube Pump is located under the hood and draws transmission fluid from the pan then pumps it to the selector valve. The valve directs the fluid through the radiator cooler then into the lubrication system. The Lube Pump is powered from the motorhomes battery and fed into a small electronic monitor. The dash mounted monitor has a switch to turn the pump on and has a indicator light as well as a audible alarm that will alert the driver of any problems in the system.

  • Remco's Drive Shaft Coupling. When towing a rear wheel drive vehicle with a automatic transmission the driveline must be disconnected from the transmission to prevent damage to the transmission. Remco's Drive Shaft coupling was developed to provide a quick and easy way to disconnect the driveline from the convience of the drivers seat. When disconnected the rear axle is free to turn without turning the driveshaft or transmission. Simply pull the cable out to disengage for towing and push in to reengage for driving.
